Medeco High Security Locks

Mortise cylinders are precision-machined solid brass and retrofit into virtually any industry standard hardware. Rim cylinders can be used with auxiliary locking devices such as: surface mounted deadbolts, night latches, panic devices and jimmy proof locks (also known as vertical drop bolts or interlocking deadbolts). Medeco high security rim and mortise cylinders are UL 437 listed for drill and pick resistance, and the those that incorporate the Medeco 4, M4 BiLevel, or Medeco X4 technologies, offer utility patented key control.

Features:

• Protects against unauthorized duplication of keys.
• M4 cylinders use cylinder side pins, a shuttle lift pin and a movable key element to engage a sidebar that prevents the key from turning until the elements are rotated and aligned in the correct position, protecting against bumping, picking and other attacks.
• Medeco 4 rim & mortise cylinders are UL 437 listed and stand up to drilling, picking and other forms of physical attack.
• Requires a special key cutting machine and access to Medeco specific blanks, available in multiple levels of restriction to support every need.
• Medeco offers the largest selection of retrofit rim and mortise cylinders that reduce cost by eliminating the need to replace existing hardware.
• Medeco 4 can be master keyed into a system containing Medeco 4 BiLevel M4 CLIQ eCylinders. Extremely large systems are possible.
