The FM series full mortise continuous geared hinge is designed for new door applications, and is available in standard, heavy, and extra heavy duty models. This hinge, which is applied to the frame rabbet and door edge to conceal both leaves, is also available in our PemKonnect® modular version (FM_HD1-M) that is primarily designed for freight savings and ease of transportation. Additional options include electric and hospital tip modification, and fire pins.

Features:

• Hinge is applied to the full length of the door to evenly distribute the door weight
• Door gap is eliminated, increasing security and privacy
• Inter-meshing gear segments provide greater bearing surface and extend life of the hinge
• Assembly is anodized after all machining is done, resulting in a harder, longer-lasting hinge
• Special hinge reinforcements are not required. Hollow metal door and frame manufacturers’ standard is acceptable. Removal of hinge reinforcements in the door and frame is not advised
• Lengths can be cut in the field for a precise fit
