The 4301 series non-handed, semi-mortise and full surface automatic door bottom is a heavy-duty solution for preventing air, light, sound, fire, smoke, dust, and moisture from entering the gap under doors. It features a drop-down seal that is lowered when the door is closed. This door bottom is available in anodized finishes and has a choice of nylon brush, PemkoPrene, or EPDM rubber seal. It can be surface mounted or semi-mortised applied to the face of the door.

Features:

• When ordering, must specify if the automatic door bottom is for a semi-mortise application so that shorter screws can be provided
• Smoother action positive seal mechanism: Aluminum case encloses a movable drop-bar seal actuated by a jamb-contacting plunger during door closure, providing an effective seal
• Most models available with nylon brush (NB) seals. Nylon filaments conform extremely well to irregular surfaces such as carpet, stone and grout lines
• End plates are provided for all mounting applications
• Provides excellent seal to keep out draft, dust, moisture, insects, fumes, light, and sound
• Drop-bar seal actuation mechanism (all models) ensures hinge-side actuation, preventing seal skidding and door hang up during closure
• Door hang-up will not occur
• Provided at NET length
• Drop-bar seal actuation prevents the seal from skidding along the floor / threshold while the door is being closed
• Can be trimmed down by as much as 2" in the field (stock lengths only). If non-stock sizes are ordered, order must note need to trim 2 inches from the size ordered

• Available in any size ranging from 18" to 48"
