The 24/25 series heavy-duty architectural push pad exit devices provide quick, easy egress suitable for various applications. Offices, banks, assisted living facilities, retail stores and other commercial buildings have constant traffic, so the exit devices must be able to perform under continual use and abuse. The 24/25 series exit devices out-perform competitors and are offered at a reasonable price. The ANSI/BHMA grade 1 certified exit devices feature a sleek, streamlined styling and smart solutions for any building design while assuring egress in case of an emergency. The 24-R series narrow stile rim device allows for application versatility in high-traffic installations. Standard features include a single-point, rim type latch and a streamlined touch bar design. This device can also be electrified for maximum ease of use and accessibility.

Functions:

• EO (01): Exit only, no trim.
• DT (02): Entrance by trim when actuating bar is locked down. Note: Fire exit devices cannot be dogged down. Some codes permit electric dogging with fail secure circuitry.
• NL (03): Entrance by trim when latchbolt is retracted by key. Key removable only when locked.
• L or K (08): Entrance by knob or lever. Key locks or unlocks knob.
• L (NL) or K (NL) (09): Entrance by knob or lever only when released by key. Key removable only when locked.

• Functions: 24-EO (exit only) has all functions built in. Order trim with the device, or add it later.
• Strikes: 299F strike standard.
• Latchbolt: Stainless steel, 3⁄4" throw.
• Deadlocking Latchbolt: Standard
• Dogging Feature: Hex dogging standard
• Doors: 1-3⁄4" thick, wood or metal. Specify thickness if other than 1-3⁄4"
• Projections: 2-3⁄4" maximum, 2" dogged.

• Electric functions: Can be interfaced with building security systems. Motorized electric latch retraction (fail secure only), security monitoring, delayed egress and exit alarm available.

• Sex Bolts: Recommended when device is used with hollow core wood, composite or light gauge hollow metal doors. For EO device, specify 4 - 425 (#I0-24) SNB and 2 - 325 (1⁄4"-20) SNB. For devices with trim, specify 4 - 425 (#I0-24) SNB.
• ANSI:Certified ANSI A156.3-2001 grade 1 standards.
• Center Case and Working Parts: Wrought steel with heavy wrought and sintered metal parts.
• Shim Kits: For glass lite applications; 1⁄4" thick, specify SK24-R.
