The APL series cylindrical lock with status indicators provides enhanced privacy at a glance with its bold green and red status symbols. This cylindrical lock is the ideal choice for a wide variety of commercial applications where consistent quality, ease of use, and installation are required. • Latch operated by lever either side except when outside lever is locked by pushing inside button.
• Pushing inside button changes indicator display status outside.
• Outside lever unlocked by turning inside lever, using emergency coin turn, or closing door. Inside lever always operates latch.
• APL42: Privacy Bath/Bedroom (EM Key/Tool Override)
• ANSI No. F76A
• Either lever operates latchbolt unless outside lever is locked by pushbutton inside.
• Pushbutton inside changes indicator display status outside.
• Rotating inside lever and/or closing door unlocks outside lever and changes indicator display status outside.
• Emergency key/tool (provided) inserted and turned in outside lever will unlock door from outside.
• Inside lever always active.
• Outside lever rigid when in locked position.
