The 6170ED(F) is a surface vertical rod exit device to be used on wide stile and flush doors up to 10' where one- or two-point latching is desired.

• 01: Exit only/blank plate. Exit only, no trim or blank escutcheon.
• 02: Dummy. Entrance by trim when actuating bar is locked down.
• 03: Nightlatch. Entrance by trim when latch is retracted by key. Key removable only when locked.
• 05: Classroom. Entrance by thumb piece. Key locks or unlocks thumb piece.
• 06: Storeroom. Entrance by thumb piece only when released by key. Key removable only when locked.
• 08: Classroom. Entrance by knob or lever. Key locks or unlocks knob or lever.
