Abus Lock Company
There are two new shackle changing tools for use with ABUS 83 Series 2.
- Version 1 is a solid aluminum, steel tip tool designed for use in the workshop environment.
- Version 2 is an economy version of this tool, designed for use in a van or onsite and when only a smaller number of shackles needs to be changed.
- A flat bladed screwdriver can no longer be used to remove the shackle, reducing the likelihood of a consumer accidentally doing so.
- The popular “Easy Shackle Change” feature has been expanded to all 83ALs, 83/45, 83KnK/45, 83/50, 83WP/53 Series 2 and most IC padlocks.
